Howe tie rod sleeves are made from aluminum that has the correct tap diameter without machining so that there is no extra material. This also makes them easy to cut and rethread. The tubes have a hexagon O.D. for a 15/16" wrench. One of the flats are grooved for easy counting of turns. They are anodized blue and are also available in bulk lengths.
