Originally developed for aircraft, the Patterson tank is the most recommended by engine builders. Of course most engine builders never had to fit one in a car. This aluminum tank installs nicely with Howe mounting bracket E163. Patterson tanks can be cleaned by splitting them apart in the center where they are sealed with a thick O-ring. Available in two sizes and with different fittings. Consult your engine builder for his preference.
