Underslung - The majority of the chassis that we build have the frame rail located under the rear axle. This is preferred when allowed by the rules as it makes for easier mounting of the fuel cell and eliminates frame rail interference with the springs. This also lowers the mass of the rails.
Over Top - The only time that we build chassis with the frame over the axle is to meet a particular set of rules. These frames can be built for coil or coilover springs. The over top frame uses the same three link suspension as the Underslung but is only availalbe with a front panhard mount.
